WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR HIGHWAY TECHNICIANS TO WORK ON THE DELIVERY OF IMPORTANT HIGHWAY ENGINEERING PROJECTS FOR OUR CLIENT, A JOINT VENTURE WORKING ON BEHALF OF TFL.

We are currently looking for candidates with demonstrable experience in AutoCAD to deliver highway improvement and maintenance schemes under the supervision of Senior and Principle Engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake services within an engineering environment which may include (but not limited to); scheme investigation, site and structure inspections, data collection and analysis, traffic order making, works/construction inspection and supervision to progress scheme design, development and construction

Prepare technical designs or drawings, documents and use specialist software in accordance with approved design procedures and systems.

Self manage delivery of projects or a small programme of work

Support and coach less experienced team members.

Demonstrate compliance with Health and Safety Responsibilities and of other company procedures.

Be a proactive and collaborative team member, work closely with colleagues and fit seamlessly into a delivery team.

Key Requirements:

The role will be Head Office based assisting the pre contstruction / design teams.

Candidates will ideally be from a construction background and have experience working on large projects for similar companies working on tender / pre construction administration. The ideal candidate will have a solid career delivering Mechanical and Electrical Services and running M&E packages on education and leisure projects.

The main objective of the role is to lead the installation of M&E services on time, within budget, meeting the clients requirements and to deliver a high level of quality without accident.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Tenders / Bids

1 Assist in selecting sub contractors to tender specific projects
2 Gain a full understanding of the tender and the M&E requirements
3 Issue tender enquires and documentation / Tender Addendum
4 Respond to and issue sub contractor tender RFIs and queries

BIM Consultant is to provide BIM technical expertise for the buildings practice in Singapore. The scope takes into account all Buildings groups i.e. Facade, Building Services (Mechanical and Electrical) and Structures. It's aimed at providing a consistent approach to CAD, BIM and analysis integration across the whole Buildings group as well as being firmly aligned with the regional strategy.

Ideally suited to a qualified Land Surveyor who wishes to work inside. The primary purpose of the role, is to liaise with the appropriate Clients/managers to supervise the deformation surveys and to ensure efficient management of all data across projects is captured, processed and issued according to specification.

Key duties:

Process, manage, check (QA), analyse and issue accurate surveying/monitoring data to clients.
Update site records (AutoCAD drawings, calibration records and Reports).
Provide telephone and onsite technical support to Surveyors and Team Leads, liaising with them to resolve queries/issues as appropriate.
Assist Project Manager/s with information (technical support, work logs, timings, quantities for billing and estimate purposes).

As a result of our expanding work load, we are currently looking for Measured Surveyors to join our Building Information Modelling (BIM) Business Group to work in exciting and challenging environments in and around London and across the UK.

The successful applicants will undertake traditional 2D surveys, including topographical and measured buildings surveys, but will also have the opportunity to use the latest 3D modelling/scanning technology producing BIM ready models.

2-3 years survey experience, undertaking topographical and measured surveys is a requirement for these roles, and ideally applicants will have a survey related qualification to degree level or equivalent. Laser Scanning experience would be advantageous. A positive and proactive approach to work, great interpersonal and communication skills, along with excellent organisational skills are essential.

Senior Construction Manager - Logistics - Steel Frame

Senior Construction Manager required to work for a large established main contractor within logisitics on a large £300m mixed use development.

Candidates will need to have a proven history as a No.1 on large mixed use projects ideally working with reputable companies for long durations.

It is essential that the candidate has steel frame experience and ideally Pre construction through to delivery experience.

Major Responsibilities

1. Ensure that Contractors perform their obligations under the contract in a fully co-ordinated approach by ensuring good communication and planning, and by providing required common resources. Chair regular logistic co-ordination meetings and ensure that minutes are prepared and promptly distributed.

2. Discharge responsibilities for Health and Safety as set out in the Health Safety and Welfare manual also the Construction Health and Safety Plan both in respect of the package and integration of the overall project.

3. Ensure that all Contractors are fully briefed on site protocol and logistics procedures. Constantly evaluate the effectiveness of all logistics functions to ensure the efficient delivery of materials and manpower to the workplace and the security of the project site.

4. Carry out regular audits of the site logistics to review the standards of access and cleanliness which are required for the safe and efficient operation of the project.

5. Review all Contractors method statements with regards to logistics requirements.

6. Discharge responsibilities for Health and Safety as set out in the Health Safety and Welfare Manual and the Construction Health and Safety Plan.

7. Attend Contractors progress meetings where applicable.

8. Manage a team of Logistics Managers and ensure that they are individually briefed on their duties and performance expectations. Continually assess the adequacy of this team to manage the construction effort.

9. Liaise with Project Managers to carry out regular site inspections of all aspects of the work in progress.

10. Maintain a detailed written record of individual Contractor's daily progress including deliveries and plant usage.

11. Oversee the establishment of temporary site facilities.

12. In consultation with the Senior Project Manager and Senior Construction Manager develop strategies for the supply of temporary utilities, hoists, and cranes. Ensure that these resources are effectively managed for the safe and efficient operations of the project.

13. Ensure the proper supply and management of welfare facilities for safe and efficient operations of the project.

14. Ensure good environmental practice on site, in line with the Considerate Constructors Scheme.

15. Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the Senior Project Manager.

16. To implement and enforce the use of PP-16 Logistics and Security Rev.8.

17. The monitoring and implementation of LBTH (or other local authorities) section 61 agreement for noise.

18. To manage all logistics activities on the project including Security, Construction vehicular and pedestrian access and co-ordinate crane and hoist requirements.
